Description
The condenser and the evaporator have a Golden Fin coating which, besides its superior anti-corrosive properties, has a hydrophilic layer that stops condensation from settling and prevents the build-up of dust, dirt and bacteria.
You can run an automatic cleaning cycle from time to time: it freezes the evaporator quickly, then thaws it, dries it, and finishes with a sterilisation stage at 56°C. Thanks to this function, improved by the added sterilisation stage, more than 93.18% of the bacteria on the evaporator are removed.
The advanced technology lets the unit start at a high frequency, 100 Hz, so the outlet air temperature reaches 17°C in 30 s in cooling mode, and 40°C in 60 s in heating mode.
When you set the fan speed of the indoor unit, in the operating mode you have chosen, you can pick from the 5 available speeds, plus the Turbo mode (the fan runs at its maximum speed, to reach the temperature you want in the shortest time) and the Mute mode (the unit runs at its lowest noise level, with the fan at its minimum speed, for the best comfort in quiet).
Features
The horizontal louvre, the bottom panel of the indoor unit casing and the rod with the vertical deflectors all have screwless fixings. Taking the three parts off takes only 8 seconds and putting them back 12, so reaching the air outlet grille to clean it is quick and easy, and the space you reach is safe for the user, completely separated from the live parts.

With the Wi-Fi function, once the unit is connected to the internet, you can control it remotely from the SmartLife-SmartHome app on a smart mobile device. The Wi-Fi module needs no installing — it is already built into the indoor unit.

Pressing the Clean button starts the four-step self-cleaning cycle: rapid freezing, thawing, drying and high-temperature sterilisation of the evaporator. The function the Anti-Mildew button turns on prevents mould by drying the internal parts of the indoor unit with the fan after the unit is switched off.

The special control program lets the motor run at an increased frequency in cooling or heating mode, so you can enjoy the temperature you want in a much shorter time.
With this function on, the unit runs at a reduced noise level, adding to your comfort without affecting its cooling or heating performance.
The I Feel function automatically optimises how the air conditioner runs: the sensor in the remote control detects the ambient temperature, and the unit adjusts the temperature of the air it releases into the room.
You can program the unit to switch itself on or off, in the operating mode and at the temperature you want.
The function optimises how the unit runs while you sleep, by automatically adjusting the temperature curve, for greater comfort and lower energy use at the same time.
The unit directs the airflow according to the operating mode — upwards in cooling mode and downwards in heating mode — for better performance and comfort.
At every capacity, the unit comes with the installation kit: 3 m of pipe, 4.3 m of cable, a condensate drain hose (about 2 m), insulating tape, insulation and sealing material for the hole in the wall.
The unit works properly down to an outdoor temperature of -15°C in cooling mode and -20°C in heating mode.
The units have AI Inverter Algorithm technology, which adjusts the operating frequency and the fan motor speed to bring the room temperature to the one you set, far more precisely.
After a power cut, the unit restarts automatically, keeping the settings it had before.
The air conditioner can run between 165 and 265 V, where the mains voltage is unstable or too low.
To make maintenance and servicing easier, if a fault occurs the error code is shown on the LED display of the indoor unit.
In heating mode, the indoor unit only starts blowing air once the evaporator has reached a temperature that avoids exposing you to a stream of cold air.
You can turn the display on the indoor unit on or off from the remote control, by pressing the Display button.
